2019 AGM

We’re thankful to all members and attendees of our 2019 AGM. It is always special to look back on our work of the past financial year, share stories of all the success of our partners and projects.

A group of people gathered to watch a video projected onto a screen.

“Such a fun and different AGM!”

We like to do our AGMs a little different, so while there was some official business, the highlight is always on catching up with our members and giving back to the people who has supported us through the year.

We we able to hear from Saia, a member of the Rehabilitation Department of Tonga’s Vaiola Hospital, who shared the true impact of the TRaM project on the staff and clients. Lauren and new project officer Dan sent us a message of thanks and a quick update from that morning in Fiji, where they were currently conducting the first session of a Training of Trainer’s workshop. Incredibly powerful was a short video about Mataiti, an advocate working with Cook Island National Disability council, and his experience accessing rehabilitation, assistive technology and community on the Cook Islands.

Thank you again to everybody involved, including Fleurieu Arthouse for hosting the event. We hope to see you all next year.
